DeLand, FL - Volusia County’s Community Assistance Division is opening registration for summer camp scholarships at 8 a.m. Wednesday, April 14. They are available to income-eligible children entering grades 1-6 and ages 5-12 and will be awarded according to funding availability.
Five-year-olds must have completed kindergarten prior to camp to be eligible. Persons up to age 17 attending approved special needs camps are eligible.
Scholarship applications will be accepted electronically. To submit an electronic application, visit volusia.org. If you need a paper application, you can only pick one up at the Community Assistance Division at 110 W. Rich Avenue in DeLand. Applications can be emailed, regular mail, or deliver by hand to the office in DeLand. Faxed or incomplete applications will not be accepted.
