Daytona Beach, FL - In celebration of National Nurses Week, and as a token of gratitude for the work they've done through the COVID-19 pandemic, AdventHealth nurses have their next car wash covered by Superwash Express.

In total, Superwash donated about 3,200 car washes to nurses in AdventHealth facilities throughout Volusia, Flagler and Lake County.

“We are so grateful for our nurses – not only for what they are doing right now during this uncertain time, but truly what they do all year to care for our community,” said Paul Bradley, president of Superwash Express. “We are happy to provide them a free carwash and hope they know how much they are appreciated.”

National Nurses Week is usually celebrated between May 6th and 12th of every year.

According to David Ottati, CEO of AdventHealth operations in Flagler, Lake and Volusia counties, said the World Health Organization designated 2020 as "Year of the Nurse." And that decision couldn't have come at a better time, says Ottati.

"We at AdventHealth truly appreciate our team of amazing nurses who are dedicated to serving our patients with clinical excellence and uncommon compassion,” Ottati stated. “Superwash is such a wonderful community partner and we truly appreciate this generous gift for our nurses.”
