Daytona Beach, FL - Two suspects in an attack on a 48-year-old woman on September 12 in Daytona Beach are now in custody. Daytona Beach Police says that 23-year-old Kyle Oliver of Ormond Beach is in the Volusia County Jail being held on a $100,000 bond. Twenty-year-old Daniel Leonard, of Palm Coast, was arrested in Flagler County yesterday (October  1) and has since bonded out.

The victim, 48-year-old Pamela Burich, has been in the hospital since the attack.

Burich and other family members were leaving Coyote Ugly on Seabreeze Boulevard just before 3 a.m. on the night of the attack. As they were walking, two crowds of people were observed coming toward them. A witness says the two groups kept coming their way and then Burich and her family members were in the middle of it all. Pamela Burich was struck in the head by a white male (suspect) and immediately fell to the pavement hitting her head and was unconscious, suffering severe head trauma.

Witnesses identified Oliver as the person who knocked the victim down. They also identified Leonard as the driver of the pickup that Oliver jumped into after the attack.
