Daytona Beach, FL - A teen who has been missing for nine months has been located safely, according to the Volusia Sheriff's Office.

Deputies announced 15-year-old David Batista's disappearance alongside two other missing teens—in unrelated cases—back in January.

According to the VSO, Batista went missing back in July of 2020 after he left the Deltona group home where he lived. Batista was said to have been located in Putnam County, where he has supposed ties in the area.

Batista is the second of those three teens to be located by law enforcement. 16-year-old Diana Rodriguez of Deltona was reported missing in December 2019 after she ran away from her East Normandy Boulevard home. She was located a week later in Maryland, along with her 11-month-old child. Both were said to be in good health.

At this time, 18-year-old Iyana Williams is the only teen who remains missing. Williams was reported missing in May 2020 after she ran away from an Enterprise group home with another girl. The other girl was located just a month later in Orange County without Iyana.

Williams is a black female, 5’2” tall, weighing around 130 pounds with brown eyes and long black hair. Anyone with information on Williams whereabouts is encouraged to contact law enforcement immediately.
