Daytona Beach, FL - The Daytona Beach Police Department dealt with three separate shootings on Saturday. The first happened at around 1 a.m. when 29-year-old Alshane Bailey blocked the way out of a parking lot at 301 S. Doctor M.L.K. Jr Blvd. Officers found two adult black men, Alshane Bailey and 56-year-old Clevon Bailey lying on the ground, holding a firearm with one gunshot wound to the leg. They were both taken to the hospital.  Another vehicle seen leaving the scene, dropped a male victim with  two gunshot wounds at the hospital.

The third person injured has not been identified. It's unclear if there is a family relationship between Alshane and Clevon Bailey.  Alshane is being held without bond on a charge of Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon.

About ten hours later, around 11:30 a.m., DBPD responded to a drive-by shooting in the 800 block of Dr. Mary Mcleod Bethune Boulevard. The victim, says the shooter, who he identified as 22-year-old Jalen Foster, was in the back seat of a black Kia that pulled up on the street. The victim says Foster pointed a black rifle-style gun out the rear window and threatened his life. One victim, 21-year-old Chad Gibbons, was shot and killed. The driver of the car Foster was in, 27-year-old Corey Favors, drove off after the threat. Pursuit was authorized and officers reported that Favors was driving at speeds of 70 or 80 mph on side streets. The chase ended in the Walmart parking lot on Beville Road after stop sticks were used. Favors was arrested and charged with Fleeing and Eluding. Besides Foster in the back seat, there was a front seat passenger, 23-year-old Jevohn Lloyd. According to the incident report, he's not charged in the incident.

The third incident happened around 2 p.m. in the 600 block of Mason Avenue. The first victim was near the Macker's Seafood store when he was hit by gunfire. A witness verified that she heard the gunshots before seeing the victim, who she tried to help. Moments later, a barber at the House of Fades Barbershop  heard gunshots, then saw a victim running down the street with a gunshot wound to his arm. Both victims were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. At this time, DBPD is still looking for the shooter or shooters.
