Ormond Beach, FL-A 57-year-old man died in Ormond Beach Friday afternoon when he fell from a 30-foot ladder.
City authorities say it happened around 2:15 PM at 1930 West Granada Boulevard.
The victim is identified as Thurman Hull. He was working for Darryl Hamilton Tree Service at the rear of the plaza trimming a large palm tree. Hull reportedly was on the ladder and had difficulty with his safety harness. He unhooked it from the ladder causing the ladder to twist. Witnesses say that's when he fell. He was dead at the scene.
