Two Separate Fatal Accidents In Flagler County Under Investigation

Palm Coast, FL - Two separate fatal accidents are under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. The accidents happened this afternoon (January 26). The northbound lanes of I-95 were shut down just past the Ormond Beach U.S. 1 exit around 3:30 p.m.

The first accident, involving and RV, took place just past Mile Marker 289. The RV left the road and hit a tree. Two people were reported deceased at the scene.

The second accident, near the exit ramp for S.R. 100, involved five vehicles. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. FHP reports that several others were transported to area hospitals.

The Flagler  County Sheriff's Office reported around 6 p.m. that the northbound lanes of I-95 and all ramps have reopened.
