Daytona Beach, FL - Daytona Beach Police says 36-year-old Alejandro Sarabia-Munoz is in the Volusia County Jail facing drug and gun charges. He’s also an undocumented immigrant.
The suspect ran a stop sign at Holmes Avenue and North Street Sunday just before midnight. An officer on patrol initiated a traffic stop. He found methamphetamine, a pistol, an assortment of ammunition and a bandoleer, filled with 12-gauge shotgun shells in the vehicle,
Sarabia-Munoz’s immigration status has him being held without bond. His passenger, 32-year-old Tiffany Oxendine, was arrested for a failure to appear. She let the officer know that the suspect was armed.
