Volusia Closing Vehicular Beach Access Ramps

Posted

New Smyrna Beach, FL - There will be no vehicular beach access ramps open in New Smyrna Beach beginning today. Tomorrow and Sunday, all Volusia County vehicular access ramps will remain closed. This will serve as a measure of crowd control in order to observe social distancing and limiting group size. These actions are subject to change.

Other government agencies are reducing hours and human contact each day as the COVID-19 pandemic continues.

On Monday, all 14 Volusia libraries will be closed to the public. The system will transition to online, telephone and curbside service.  For residents who don’t have a library card, they can call their local library and arrange to get one over the phone. Visit volusia.org for more information.

All four revenue offices will only be open from 8 a.m. until noon on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.
