Volusia County Human Services Office Reopens In Daytona Beach

Posted

Daytona Beach, FL - Daytona Beach residents finally have a Volusia County Human Services office in town. It opened on Monday of this week.

It's been a little more than two years since Hurricane Irma flooded the Volusia County Administration Building on North Beach Street, effectively closing down all of its offices.

The new Human Services office is located at 1845 Holsonback Drive, which is just off Bill France Boulevard and Clyde Morris Boulevard.

Low income Volusia County residents can apply for assistance with utilities, rent, mortgage, prescriptions, dental extractions, and indigent cremations or burials.

Office hours are from 7:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, you can call 386-254-4675.
