Deltona, FL - If you'd like to learn more about the manatees you see at Blue Spring State Park and other springs around the area, you can do so online or in-person this coming Saturday, January 30th.
LEC-Meandering Manatees will be held in a classroom at the Lyonia Environmental Center, located at 2150 Eustace Avenue in Deltona from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Registration is required. Call 386-789-7207, ext. #21028 to do so. If you're taking the class online, you will be provided an online link during registration.
Some of the things you'll learn about manatees include their diet, behaviors, and seasonal travels. Staff will also share information on volunteer opportunities and other ways you can help the manatee.
