The man accused of killing three people including a famous social media star in a wrong-way crash in 2022 has rejected a plea deal that would've spared him life in prison. 24-year-old Devin Perkins, a resident of New Smyrna Beach, will face trial for the deadly crash.

The incident occurred in December 2022, when Perkins is said to have collided with another vehicle while driving the wrong way on SR-44 in Volusia County. Three people died in the crash, one of which was TikTok celebrity Ali Spice, 21. The other victims were 25-year-old Jacob Moser and 20-year-old Ava Fellerman.

The three victims were all in the car with Perkins when the crash occurred, while the driver of the other vehicle reportedly fled the scene. He was also charged and accepted a plea deal last week. Perkins was also charged for allegedly having been going near 100 miles per hour at the time of the crash.

The plea deal Perkins rejected would've put him in prison for 10 to 20 years for his accused crimes. He delivered his decision to Circuit Judge Dawn Nichols on Thursday.
