ORLANDO, Fla. - A 10 year-old girl in Orlando has been arrested in connection a deadly shooting at an apartment complex on May 30th. She is charged with second degree murder after purportedly taking a gun given to her by her mother and shooting a woman whom the mother was arguing with in the head. It's not yet clear whether she'll be charged as an adult.

The girl's mother, Lakrisha Isaac, had been arguing with another woman, Lashun Rodgers, according to law enforcement. Rodgers' boyfriend was present at the time of the shooting, and says Isaac handed her daughter a backpack which contained the murder weapon. The girl is said to have taken the gun out and shot Isaac twice, one time in the head. She then reportedly yelled out, "she shouldn't have hit my momma"

Isaac was arrested and charged shortly after the incident, being stuck with culpable negligence, aggravated assault, negligent storage of a firearm, and child neglect. Her daughter was not initially charged, and was placed into the custody of the Department of Children and Families. She's now been arrested by the Orlando Police Department.

Isaac was reportedly drunk at the fight. They'd come to blows at a barbecue in the courtyard of the apartment complex. Multiple witnesses are said to have been present.
