DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The grandstand tickets for the 2024 Daytona 500 have sold out, according to an announcement Tuesday from Daytona International Speedway. As sellouts become an increasingly regular occurrence for the track, the facility's leadership can once again expect a packed house for the 66th running of the Great American Race.
Track President Frank Kelleher delivered the announcement Tuesday at the facility, accompanied by 2023 Daytona 500 winner Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and 2001 and 2003 winner Michael Waltrip.
“Our fans continue to impress year after year, but the rate at which the 2024 Daytona 500 has sold out is a true testament to what this race represents,” Kelleher said. “It’s anticipation that builds throughout the year and into the offseason, then all comes together for a week of pure entertainment, competition and this passionate feeling you don’t get anywhere else but The World Center of Racing. We can’t wait to have a full house of race fans for the NASCAR season opener.”
Those wishing to secure tickets to the race still have a way to do so: plenty of tickets will hit the resell market in the weeks leading up to the event, and packages other than grandstand seating are still on sale from the track. Hospitality packages such as the Daytona 500 Club and 31 DEGREES are available, as are passes to the UNOH Fanzone.
Also ancitipated in February are the races leading up to the Daytona 500: the Bluegreen Vacations Duels take place on Thursday, February 15th, followed by the Truck Series' Fresh from Florida 250 on Friday the 16th. The Xfinity Series is next with the United Rentals 300 on Saturday, followed by the Daytona 500 on Sunday, February 18th. The Daytona 500 will be the first chance to see the new car bodies developed for the Ford Mustang and Toyota Camry race in the regular season next year.
