Oak Hill, FL - The other teen involved in the shooting of an Oak Hill man at a party will now be charged as an adult.

That's according to court documents showing that 17-year-old Sylvano Leslie II has been transferred to adult court.

Back in February, both 16-year-old James Powell and Leslie shot a 47-year-old Oak Hill man, who was hosting a party for his children.

Documents from the Volusia County Sheriff's Office show that Powell became hostile and started a fight with the victim after he had told Powell, Leslie, and another passenger in their car that they were not invited to the party.

It was during that fight that Powell pulled a handgun from his waistband and fired at the man, striking him in the neck and hand.

According to VCSO, Leslie acted as the getaway driver and helped Powell flee the scene.

Due to his part, Leslie is being charged with accessory after the fact.
