30-Year-Old Found Safe In Georgia, Juvenile Still Missing

Bunnell, FL - Days after announcing two missing subjects—who are both unrelated to each other—deputies learn about the whereabouts of one as the search for the other continues.

Back in late-October, the Flagler County Sheriff's Office (FCSO) announced the search for two unrelated individuals who were recently reported as missing—30-year-old Jamal Bell and 13-year-old Xandar Garrett.

According to a release from FCSO, the most up-to-date information investigators had was that neither Bell or Garrett were in Flagler County. With that in mind, detectives began to reach out to agencies within and outside of the state in order to locate them. Investigators also noted that there was no suspicion of foul play in either case.

Days after announcing the search, FCSO announced that they learned of Bell's whereabouts after learning that he was in East Point, Georgia—a southwest suburb of Atlanta. After finding Bell's location, deputies worked with authorities in Atlanta to conduct a welfare check on Bell, who was found to be "of sound mind and body." Bell also told investigators that he was there willingly.

The search now continues for Garrett, who is believed to still be out of state. Garrett was said to have run away from his Forrester Place residence in Palm Coast on October 22nd. He is described as a white teenage male with a thin build, standing around five feet tall with blonde hair. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt with sharks on it, gray gym shorts and white and red Air Jordan sneakers.
