
UPDATE: The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is reporting that the man who has caused US-92 in DeLand to be shut down since early this morning is safely in custody, no injuries to anyone involved.
DeLand, FL - All lanes of US-92 are currently shut down by the Volusia County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies are on scene at West Parkway and U.S. 92 in DeLand, talking with a man who is threatening to kill himself. Be advised that traffic is being rerouted at Kepler Avenue, preventing drivers from traveling eastbound. Deputies are directing traffic.

VCSO tweeted early this morning that the eastbound lanes are blocked as deputies are talking to a man who is threatening to kill himself.
Deputies are also directing traffic off of US-92 and onto Kepler Road, to Old Daytona Road and back to US-92.
