Anonymous Tip Leads To Arrest Of Burger King Stabbing Suspect

Daytona Beach, FL - An anonymous tip leads to the arrest of a suspect in a stabbing incident that happened on December 8, 2019.  Daytona Beach Police arrested 25-year-old Jamar Ragland on Monday, December 30.  The anonymous tip came on December 17.

The anonymous person reported he did not know the suspect's name but knew where the suspect possibly worked. Police contacted that business. After checking the video of the incident posted on the DBPD Facebook page, the business said it could possibly be Ragland. 

On December 18, detectives created a photo lineup that included Ragland.  The victim positively identified him from the lineup and a warrant was issued for his arrest. 

Ragland is charged with Aggravated Battery in the stabbing incident with bond set at $15,000.  He's also charged with possession of fentanyl with bond on that charge set at $2,500.
