Posted

Avelo Airlines, an ultra-low-cost airline which operates out of the Daytona Beach International Airport, has announced that they will be expanding their services to include Concord/Charlotte starting next year. The addition marks yet another in several expansions since Avelo came to Daytona Beach in June 2023.

The route, which will be available starting in April 2025, will span from the Daytona Beach International Airport to the Concord-Padgett Regional Airport in Charlotte, North Carolina. It will fly on Thursdays and Sundays nonstop, utilizing Boeing Next-Generation 737 planes.

“We’re excited to announce an expansion of Avelo’s nonstop service in Daytona Beach with new service to Charlotte," said Avelo CEO Andrew Levy. "With four nonstop options, we continue to share Avelo’s low fares, travel-friendly convenience, and industry-leading reliability to our Volusia County Customers. These new nonstop routes also make exploring the abundance of experiences Daytona Beach has to offer a seamless journey for visitors.”

With the addition of Concord, Avelo Airlines will now serve four different locations out of Daytona Beach alongside Hartford, Philadelphia, and New Haven.

“Avelo Airlines continues to invest in the Volusia County area, and we couldn’t be happier with today’s announcement of new service to Charlotte/Concord," added Daytona Beach Airport Director Karen Feaster. "This new market is yet another option for travelers to get to our beautiful destination through DAB—an airport that’s convenient and stress free.”
