DeLand, FL - Tomorrow (April 15), bells will be ringing at 4:15 p.m. across Volusia County from the historic courthouse in DeLand, to the DeLand Fire Department's antique fire engine outside of City Hall, to churches and businesses in Daytona Beach, Port Orange, Holly Hill, Edgewater, DeBary, and Lake Helen.
The bells will ring to show appreciation for all essential workers, including, but not limited to, doctors, nurses, health professionals and first responders for their efforts on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19.
Residents are also encouraged to participate but they should continue to practice the CDC’s social distancing guidelines.
