Biketoberfest One Week Away in Daytona

Posted

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - One of Daytona Beach's most famous events is one week away from happening. Biketoberfest 2023 is set to officially kick off on Thursday, October 19th and run through Sunday, October 22nd.

Biketoberfest is the slightly smaller of the city's two motorcycle-themed annual events - the other being March's Bike Week - but it's still an extremely popular and well-attended gathering.

The main events of Biketoberfest will take place along multiple locations. Mainly, Daytona International Speedway, SR-A1A, the scenic Ormond Beach Loop, and Teddy Morse's Daytona Harley-Davidson.

In addition to being a mass gathering of motorcycle enthusiasts from Volusia County and around the country, Biketoberfest will also be an important boost to the local economy. Local businesses often get their largest influxes of customers until the Christmas shopping season begins, and many businesses make specific plans to accommodate the influx of bikers.

The Official Biketoberfest Welcome Center sponsored by Geico will be located outside of Daytona International Speedway in the main display area. Here, visitors can get free merchandise and learn more about the event.

Those looking to get involved can also download the Biketoberfest official app to learn more information and receive event updates as the weekend draws near.
