Cyber Tip Leads To Child Pornography Possession Arrest

Orange City, FL - Another cyber tip sends Volusia County deputies to the home of a man now charged with possessing child pornography.

The investigation into Francisco Siaca began in December 2021 after the Volusia Sheriff’s Office received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tip alleged that Siaca uploaded 10 files of suspected child pornography, which deputies were able later to confirm during the investigation.

A report says 10 electronic files were uploaded, all portraying male and female children in sexually exploitive situations. Victims were said to be as old as 13-years-old, and as young as toddlers. The execution of a search warrant on February 3 led deputies to interview Siaca and his wife. Siaca eventually confessed to uploading the files, leading to the 10 counts of child pornography possession he is now charged with.

Siaca was released on a $150,000 bond on Saturday (Feb. 20), a day after he was booked into jail. Investigators do not believe he manufactured the suspected child pornography.
