Daytona Beach, FL - Speedweeks is about to get a lot more fun at Daytona International Speedway, especially for those who like beer.
DIS announced today (October 24th) the creation of the Daytona Beer Festival, which will make its debut in 2019 on the Daytona 500 Qualifying Day (February 10th), according to DIS spokesperson Andrew Booth.
"It will span multiple Midway Suites, allowing fans to choose from over 70 different brands of beer in a climate-controlled environment," Booth added.
The festival will run between Noon and 3 p.m. that day and feature brands like Wicked Weed, Kona, Golden Road, Blue Point, Goose Island IPA, Landshark, Shock Top, Karbach, 10 Barrel, Redhook and others yet to be announced.
Tickets for the event are on sale right now for $52.
Those who attend will be given a "beer passport" allowing them to sample at least 10 different beers and receive a DIS mini beer mug and lanyard.
Festival attendees will also receive general admission tickets for the Advance Auto Parts Clash - a non-points Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race featuring select drivers - and Daytona 500 qualifying.
