Daytona International Speedway Hosting Hiring Events

Daytona Beach, FL - The World Center of Racing and Americrown Service Corporation is hiring for a plethora of positions before Speedweeks hits Daytona Beach.

Officials at the speedway announced that they are hosting hiring events for those interested in being a part of the workforce that will help out with Daytona Speedweeks, including the 57th Rolex 24 and the 61st Annual Daytona 500.

"There are a lot of opportunities  for people who are looking for work here after the New Year," says Andrew Booth, Public Relations Director for DIS. "They can come out to these hiring events and be a part of delivering the experience here at the World Center of Racing."

Booth says he does not know exactly how many positions are needed to fill yet, but it's going to be around a couple of hundred spots to fill.

Positions available include ushers, ticket takers, usher staff, tram drivers and a number of catering positions that are available through Americrown, who does the catering for these events at the speedway.

Those who are interested in jobs at the speedway can apply on property by coming to the track off of NASCAR Drive and International Speedway Boulevard, where they will meet staff in front of the Axalta Injector to guide them on where to go.

Those events start today (December 10th), at 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The other dates include January 3rd, 5th, and 8th. The 3rd runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., the 5th runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the 5th begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 6 p.m.

All Americrown hiring events will take place at 525 Fentress Boulevard in Daytona Beach. The dates for those event include:

  • January 10th, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • January 11th, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
  • January 12th, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • January 14th, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
  • January 15th, 2 p.m. - 6 p.m.
  • January 29th, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • January 30th, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
