Detour Planned For Westbound International Speedway Boulevard

Daytona Beach, FL - A portion of westbound US-92 in Daytona Beach will be closed for drainage repair.

The Florida Department of Transportation says that the closure will run continuously from North Charles Street to Marion Street.

That closure will begin at 8 p.m. this Sunday (January 27th) and last until the following Friday (February 1st) at 7 a.m.

The closure is needed to place a new storm pipe under ISB as part of an FDOT project to improve drainage along ISB and Charles and Marion Streets.

Westbound traffic will be directed around the site using Ridgewood Avenue and George Engram and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevards.

Drivers on Southbound Ridgewood will be directed to take Orange Avenue west to MLK Boulevard and back to ISB.

Access to businesses in that affected area will be maintained, per FDOT.

Construction schedules may also change due to weather or other circumstances. For more information, you can visit the FDOT Central Florida website by clicking here.
