Daytona Beach, FL – In honor of National Cancer Survivors Day®, Florida Hospital will host a free special event for cancer survivors and their caregivers at the Daytona International Speedway’s Daytona 500 Club. On June 4, from 2 to 5 p.m
Held on National Cancer Survivors Day, this annual observation provides an opportunity for all those living with a history of cancer – including America’s more than 14.5 million cancer survivors – to connect with each other, celebrate milestones, and recognize those who have supported them along the way. It is also a day to draw attention to the ongoing challenges of cancer survivorship to promote more resources, research, and survivor-friendly legislation to improve cancer survivors’ quality of life.
Florida Hospital’s National Cancer Survivors Day event will include a special program, light refreshments, giveaways, physician meet n' greet, and Daytona International Speedway experiences, including a victory lane photo opportunity.
