Flagler County Says A Person Tested Positive For COVID-19

Bunnell, FL -  Flagler County has it's first reported positive COVID-19 case.  Emergency Management Director Jonathan Lord says they were notified by the Florida Department of Health today.

 Lord reminds Flagler County residents not to focus on the number of COVID-19 cases, and to focus instead on the one thing that will keep the community safe – follow the public health guidelines established by the Florida Department of Health and the CDC.

·       Washing your hands often

·       Avoiding close contact with people who are sick

·       If you are sick and/or told to self-isolate

o   Staying home

o   Covering coughs and sneezes

o   Wearing a face mask around others

o   Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces daily.
