
Port Orange, FL- Adults can pick up new computer skills during free classes at the Port
Orange Regional Library, 1005 City Center Circle.
August’s classes include:
· Genealogy databases: 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 1
· Google Chrome browser: 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3
· Introduction to computers, part one: 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday,
Aug. 8
· Twitter basics: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9
· Microsoft Word 2016 basics: 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10
· Introduction to Facebook: 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15
· Windows 10 overview: 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17
· Introduction to computers, part two: 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday,
Aug. 22
· Introduction to Pinterest: 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug.
Aug. 23
· iPad basics: 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 24
· Advanced computers and Internet: 2 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug.
Aug. 29
· Introduction to Overdrive: 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30
· Introduction to Excel – budget spreadsheet: 2 to 4 p.m.

Participants are asked to bring fully charged laptops or other portable
computing devices if they have them. The library has free Wi-Fi
throughout the building.
