High Traffic Drug House Shut Down In Bunnell

Bunnell, FL - Three people are charged with drug offenses and two of them are being held with bond after the Flagler County Sheriff's Office shuts down a known drug house on Church Street in Bunnell. Being held without bond are 61-year-old Gladys Warren and 22-year-old Jayla Steward. Another person, 58-year-old Everett Bullard, is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and being held on a $500 bond.

The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office (FCSO) Special Investigations Unit (SIU) served a search warrant at the home yesterday (July 16). Several undercover operations have been conducted in recent months giving SIU the evidence for a search warrant. They found that narcotics were being sold by multiple at the residence and that there was heavy traffic coming and going at all hours.

Five adults were at the residence, including the three arrested. Detectives said that while they were at the home, neighbors came over to express their gratitude and appreciation for their cleaning up the community.

Detectives seized Cocaine, Synthetic Cathinones (Molly), Cannabis, and various other drug paraphernalia.

Warren is charged with Possession of Synthetic Cathinones and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Steward is charged with Possession of Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was last arrested on July 1 for drug charges. She bonded out on July 15 and was rearrested the next day. Bullard is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

“This has been a problem house for a long time and made the Sheriff’s High-Intensity Target list,” Sheriff Rick Staly said. “We appreciate the community for sending in their tips and being patient while our detectives built a case for a search warrant. Unfortunately, the poison peddlers arrested are familiar with the accommodations at the Green Roof Inn and have yet to change their profession to avoid frequent visits. If they continue, they will remain on the Sheriff’s High-Intensity Target list.”

The investigation is still open and charges are pending.
