Limited Reopening Set For CareerSource Flagler Volusia

Orange City, FL - CareerSource Flagler Volusia begins a phased limited reopening on Monday for those that do not have computer access and need to apply for or update their Reemployment Assistance Claim. The Orange City Career Center opens this coming Monday, May 18 and you will need an appointment.

Customers should call 386-323-7052 to schedule at any of the three Career Centers and to receive instructions and expectations for their visit. Appointments are limited to daily time slots - 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Daytona Beach Career Center will open on Tuesday, May 26 and the Flagler Career Center opens on Monday, June 1. 

Christine Sikora, Vice President of Innovative Workforce Solutions says the phased reopening is focusing on the 'immediate needs of those laid off as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic but will gradually expand as social distancing guidelines permit.

President and CEO of CareerSource Flagler Volusia Robin King said the safety of our staff and customers is the top priority. "We will continue to follow CDC guidelines and take precautions as we serve our community in a safe and sanitized environment. We will depend upon the cooperation of those scheduled to come into the Career Centers to keep everyone healthy.”
