Palm Coast, FL - A suspect abandons one stolen vehicle, takes another from a gas station and ends up in the hands of Georgia law enforcement.

The Flagler County Sheriff's Office was alerted to the first vehicle, a Mazda SUV that was stolen out of Maryland, after it was spotted travelling on Palm Coast Parkway Saturday afternoon (July 11th).

Deputies soon found the vehicle a second time as it joined southbound I-95. Although, the SUV soon fled away from deputies. Law enforcement eventually lost sight of the vehicle near Old Kings Road and Old Dixie Highway just before two o'clock that afternoon.

A few minutes later, the SUV was found unoccupied at the Central Florida Retina Institute in Flagler Beach. Not long after finding the SUV, FCSO deployed a K9 unit while Flagler County Fire Rescue's Fireflight helicopter took to the skies to help look for the suspect or suspects.

However, another few minutes later and deputies were notified about a woman who said a shirtless man entered her vehicle, stole her car and fled at a gas station that was less than a mile away from where the first vehicle was abandoned.

Neighboring agencies were then informed about the carjacking. No news came of the situation until the Camden County Sheriff's Office in Georgia located the vehicle and the suspect, 40-year-old Chad Langlois.

Camden County jail records show Langlois was charged with armed robbery and is being held without bond.

News Daytona Beach has reached out to the Camden County Sheriff's Office for more information regarding Langlois' arrest. We have yet to receive a response. We'll update this story once new information is available.

Langlois' photo was also not available.
