Ponce Inlet, FL - A man was arrested and charged with aggravated animal cruelty on Saturday for beating his dog to death.
According to WFTV-9 News, Travis Archer, 43, Ponce Inlet, said the dog bit him after he disciplined the dog for making a mess in the house, and that's the reason he beat the dog.
A neighbor called police because he could hear the dog's yelps and suspected the dog was being beaten.
