Man Breaks Into Father's Home; Allegedly Rapes Girlfriend

Palm Coast, FL - A man is in custody at the Flagler County Jail for allegedly breaking into a house and raping his girlfriend.

24-year-old D’Marcus Boyd is at the Flagler County jail on charges accusing him of raping his girlfriend in an attempt to “test” whether she cheated on him.

The belongs to his father and Boyd used to live there with his girlfriend. However, his family told Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies he was kicked out and not allowed to be there.

Boyd was charged with rape back in 2013, then those charges were dismissed. The charges stemmed from him having sex with a 15 year old when he was 18. His previous charges include burglary, and felony assault. One of the previous cases left his stepmother with a broken wrist and forearm. He served fifteen months in a state prison and was released in 2016

According to the police report, the incident occurred on Tuesday morning. Boyd’s brother, 31,had come home from work when he saw his brother dragging a woman toward the street in a headlock.

Prior to that, he managed to get into the home by breaking a window. Once inside the home, he confronts the woman about her cheating on him. The confrontation became physical and continued outside.

Boyd let go of the woman and she ran inside. He was arrested by the Flagler County Sheriff's Office in the neighborhood. The alleged victim, a 22-year-old woman, is someone Boyd dated, despite him referring to her as his fiance according to reports.

According to reports, the incident was the result of a supposed recording of the alleged victim having sex with one of Boyd's friends.

He has been charged with sexual battery, burglary and domestic battery.
