Missing, Endangered Man Found Dead Near Home


UPDATE: At 6:30 p.m., the Volusia Sheriff's Office confirmed that Calderon was found deceased near his home. We will pass along updates when they are made available

DeLand, FL - Deputies need the public's help in finding a man considered armed and endangered.

The Volusia Sheriff's Office is currently looking for 40-year-old Johnny Calderon of DeLand, who is missing and considered endangered after making threats to harm himself.

According to deputies, Calderon was last seen at his home today (August 5th) in the 100 block of Dover Lane in DeLand.

Calderon is said to be dressed in all black and is believed to be carrying a pistol. He stands around 6’2" to 6’4" tall, weighing around 370-380 pounds.
