Mobile Vaccine Events Coming To Volusia

Daytona Beach, FL - The Florida Division of Emergency Management is coming back to Volusia with a series of mobile COVID-19 vaccination events scheduled throughout June.

There are nine events in total and each one will be a one-day only event. These sites will also operate on a walk-up only basis and offer the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine instead of one of the two-shot Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccines.

  • June 10, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Fire Station 11, 1580 Derbyshire Road, Holly Hill
  • June 11, Noon – 8 p.m., Fire Station 41, 5007 Central Ave., DeLeon Springs
  •  June 12, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Ormond Beach Regional Library, 30 S. Beach St.
  • June 15, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Port Orange Regional Library, 1005 City Center Circle
  • June 15, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., John K. Dickerson Heritage Library, 411 S. Keech St., Daytona Beach
  • June 18, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Orange City Public Library, 148 Albertus Way
  •  June 19, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Edgewater Public Library, 103 W. Indian River Blvd.
  • June 21, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Pierson Public Library, 115 N. Volusia Ave
  • June 22, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Hope Place Public Library, 1310 Wright St., Daytona Beach

If you cannot attend one of these vaccination dates, the Florida Department of Health-Volusia County is still offering shots throughout the county. You can find more information about local vaccination opportunities through their website. Additionally, companies such as Publix, Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens, to name a few, are offering free vaccinations as well. Be sure to check on their websites for other vaccination opportunities.
