Daytona Beach, FL - 250 kids who aren't eligible to take the bus go home with a brand new bike, courtesy of the NASCAR Foundation and a couple of local partners.

That's because these kids live within two miles from their school, meaning they have to be dropped off or they have to walk.

To help the kids out, the NASCAR Foundation decided to help the kids get a bike and learn how to ride the bikes. Therefore, NASCAR teamed up with the Childress Institute for Pediatric Trauma to help each child get fitted for a helmet.

And building 250 bikes is no easy feat, so the foundation recruited some help from the sport itself, along with some locals.
