Daytona Beach, FL - Daytona's premium lifestyle entertainment center, One Daytona, announces plans to create a brand new, $30 million multi-story luxury apartment complex at Icon One Daytona. In addition, the center has also announced the impending arrival of a brand new Donnie's Donuts location.

One Daytona announced on Wednesday (February 17th) that Prime Group, the developer behind Icon at One Daytona, plans to build the new 120-unit complex adjacent to the Fairfield Inn & Suites and across from the International Motorsports Center.

Construction on the complex, which will include a selection of studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments, is slated to begin by the third quarter of 2021 and could take up to 12 months.

"With our existing Icon units seeing a fast pace of leasing, we are confident in the Daytona Beach market," stated Larry Abbo, CEO of Prime Group. "We believe in the lifestyle concept we’ve created here with shopping, dining and entertainment within walking distance from our apartment homes. One Daytona’s programming provides something for our residents to do nearly every week of the year from outdoor markets and live entertainment to interactive community events."

Also set to make its One Daytona debut in the near future is Donnie's Donuts, a local gourmet donut shop featured on the Food Network’s "The Great Food Truck Race." Donnie's is set to occupy the 1,500 square foot space in the center island of Daytona Boulevard, across from Jeremiah’s Italian Ice. Indoor and outdoor seating will be offered at the new location, along with a selection of fresh baked vintage and modern donuts, as well as a create-your-own option choosing toppings and frostings.

Guests will also be able to purchase direct trade organic tea, scratch made hot chocolate, milk, and juices.

“We are very excited to be back in Daytona Beach,” stated Patti and Donald Summerlin, co-owners of Donnie’s Donuts. “We cannot think of a better location than One Daytona to grow our customer base.”

As of this moment there is no word on when Donnie's plans to open their new location.
