Open House Sunday At Daytona International Speedway

Daytona Beach, FL - If you haven't seen the new aspects of Daytona International Speedway yet, this weekend is your chance to do so for free. An open house takes place between 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday, the second such free look inside the historic racing venue since the "Daytona Rising" renovations were completed in 2016. The first took place in February of that year. The goal of the event, according to Daytona International Speedway President Chip Wile, is to give local residents a chance to explore the facility. “The open house is a great opportunity for current ticket holders to visit areas that they haven’t seen previously as well as guests who have not been to the facility since the completion of the $400 million renovation project,” Wile added. “We’re looking forward to visiting with the community and showing off the ‘World Center of Racing.’” Guided tours will take visitors to see the Axalta Injector, Trioval Club, start/finish line seating, Harley J's and Rolex 24 Lounge hospitality venues along with the Tower roof. The Tower roof is not normally accessible during events and it will give visitors a unique view of the track. Other things going on during the open house include light snacks and beverages while the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series playoff race from Texas Motor Speedway plays on televisions in the Rolex 24 Lounge and Harley J's. The Harley J. Earl Daytona 500 champion's trophy will be on display for photo opportunities and there will be special giveaways including VIP experiences, race tickets and autographed items. Parking will be available in the Midway outside the Axalta Injector. If you want to reserve a spot, you can click here, but walk-ups will be accepted.
