Orlando, FL - A 36-year-old Palm Coast man is sentenced to 10 years in federal prison on drug charges. Andrew "Yeti" Shettler, a member of the Thunderguards Motorcycle Club, a Pagans MC affiliate, pleaded guilty for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine in January of this year.

Shettler was just one of 17 people arrested due to an investigation that began in April 2017. According to court documents, the FBI and later the DEA was looking into drug trafficking organizations (DTOs) that were supplying motorcycle clubs, including the Pagan Motorcycle Club and affiliated groups in the Middle District of Florida.

To date, 21 individuals have been found guilty as a result of that joint investigation. Local agencies were also involved, including the Volusia County Sheriff's Office and the Daytona Beach Police Department.

“This case exemplifies the cooperation among federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies to dismantle dangerous criminal organizations that threaten the safety of our communities,” said Rachel L. Rojas, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Jacksonville Division. “The FBI will continue to target the leadership of these organizations and bring them to justice for the harm caused by their criminal actions.”
