Police Searching For Stolen Stetson Medallion


DeLand, FL - The police are looking to the public for help in finding whoever stole a medallion from Stetson University.

The DeLand Police Department (DPD) were notified by an employee at the university on Wednesday (January 6th) after they noticed that the medallion was missing.

According to police, the medallion, which bears the insignia of Stetson University, was stolen from the gateway feature at the corner of North Amelia and East Ohio Avenue. A spotlight used to illuminate the sign was also missing.
