Daytona Beach, FL - The Volusia County Jail saw 16 bookings yesterday (February 27) all on counts of failing to register as a sex offender. Volusia sheriff's deputies and detectives, with the help of the U.S. Marshal's office and FDLE conducted about 80 checks in all. They focused on the areas of Port Orange, New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, and Oak Hill.
