UPDATE: All departing American Airlines flights out of Daytona have been canceled. One flight because of the incident, the other because of inclement weather in North Carolina. Please contact American Airlines if you are affected by these cancellations

Daytona Beach, FL - Crews are working to remove a plane after it made a hard landing at Daytona Beach International Airport.

Joanne Magely, spokesperson for DBIA, said that a small Cessna Citation Mustang jet made a belly landing around 12:45 p.m. with two souls on board – who remained uninjured.

Both major runways at DBIA are now closed as crews work to remove the plane and inspect the runways. Passengers are urged to check with their carriers for updates on flight schedules.
