DeBary, FL - The public's help is needed to identify the suspect in an attempt to break into a DeBary home on Naranja Rd. Volusia County sheriff's detectives say that same suspect could also be involved in a retail theft at a nearby T-Mobile store. Video of the burglary attempt is
available on the VCSO Facebook page.
VCSO says the suspect was captured on the home's Ring security camera knocking on the door at about 10:30 a.m. on Dec. 11. The suspect and another suspect fled the area after trying to force entry and setting off an alarm. They left in a gray 2018 4-door Honda Civic.
The original suspect was caught on another Ring camera about an hour later, he committed retail theft at the T-Mobile story on Doyle Rd in Deltona. Detectives say they believe the suspect in both incidents is one and the same, as he was dressed the same way in both videos.
