Suspected Drug House Raided in Bunnell

BUNNELL, Fla. - The Flagler County Sheriff's Office raided a suspected drug house in Bunnell, according to a Friday statement from the agency. The raid took place early Friday morning, after a search warrant was obtained on Thursday.

According to the FCSO's statement, deputies were conducting a probation check on two individuals at 2676 Redwood Street. Two people reportedly fled from the back of the house when police arrived, and upon searching the home deputies found narcotics and paraphernalia. Further investigation revealed that, according to the property owner, the two individuals were squatting.

A search warrant was obtained after the fact, and deputies went on to locate 30.97 grams of methamphetamine, 1.43 grams of fentanyl, 5.56 grams of cannabis, and some quantity of drug paraphernalia. One arrest was made: Jessica Giddens is charged with felony probation violation and possession of drug paraphernalia with more charges pending. She's currently held at the county jail on $2,500 bond.

Prior charges for Giddens include domestic battery, failing to pay child support, and other possession charges. This article will be updated if or when further charges against Giddens are announced.
