Palm Coast, FL - A 70-year-old man is recovering from injuries that Flagler County Sheriff’s deputies say came from two much younger men. A golf club was used in the attack.
18-year-old Alex Fregulia and 20-year-old Leonardo Silva are both charged with Aggravated Battery on a Person Over 65 and Battery on a Person Over 65.
The victim says the pair were in a car that cut him off. The victim said he pulled into a nearby parking lot and the pair followed him, getting out of their car and yelling at him. They hit him with their fists and then got the golf club and hit him with that.
Fregulia and Silva both said that the victim started the altercation but evidence pointed to the contrary.
