Deltona, FL - The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is trying to find whoever robbed a gas station in Deltona over the weekend.
It happened around 4 a.m. Saturday (February 23rd) at the Cumberland Farms on 1251 Providence Boulevard. That's near the northeast corner of East Normandy Boulevard.
The suspect pushed two employees behind the counter and implied he had a gun before taking cash from the register and leaving, according to VCSO spokesperson Andrew Gant.
"No one was injured in the robbery," Gant added. "The suspect was described as a black male wearing a black shirt, black jacket and red sweatpants, with a white shirt covering most of his face."
VCSO thinks the suspect stands between 5’8 to 5’10 and weighs around 170 to 180 pounds.
Anyone with information can call VCSO at 386-248-1777 or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida at 888-277-TIPS to remain anonymous and possibly qualify for a cash reward of up to $5,000. Online tips can also be filed.
