Volusia Continues Live COVID-19 Discussions

Daytona Beach, FL - Later this week, Volusia County will host another COVID-19 panel discussion about how to get assistance if you’re affected by the pandemic.

Last week, the topic was small business assistance, now Volusia’s series of live panel discussions addressing issues related to COVID-19 will continue this Friday (April 24th) with a focus on community resources that are available to assist individuals and families.

The moderated panel discussion will begin at 10 a.m. and can be viewed live on the Volusia County Emergency Management Facebook page. In addition, the panel also will take questions from online viewers.

The discussion will also feature four special guests, including Dona Butler, director of Volusia County Community Services, Robin King, president and CEO of CareerSource Flagler/Volusia, Courtney Edgcomb, president of United Way Volusia-Flagler Counties and Buck James executive director of Halifax Urban Ministries.
