DeLand, FL - The Volusia County Affordable Housing Summit scheduled for Friday, August 27, is postponed. They hope to reschedule an in-person event in October or November. The rising number of COVID-19 cases led to the postponement.
Four virtual webinars were held during the month of July in preparation for the Summit. You can view them on the volusia.org YouTube channel.
Additional virtual activities are planned for, building on the information shared in the July webinars. The first will be an interactive session on September 10, 2021 at 12:00. Staff will be joined by experts from the Florida Housing Coalition who will share the framework of strategies that make housing affordable in a community and will outline techniques to develop a successful affordable housing plan.
