DeLand, FL - An email from Volusia County Supervisor of Elections Lisa Lewis says the Volusia County Canvassing Board will be adding an additional meeting to their schedule.
The additional meeting will take place on Saturday morning (October 10th) at 8:30; with a Sunday meeting to follow if needed.
According to Lewis, because of the volume of vote-by-mail ballots, the canvassing board wants to keep on top of the opening and tabulating of the ballots.
“We have mailed out over 160,000 vote by mail ballots, and have received over 42,000 back as of yesterday,” said Lewis.
