Volusia Live/Option Two Approved By FLDOE

DeLand, FL - An option that Volusia County Schools  says is innovative, Volusia Live (real-time live streaming), is approved by the Florida Department of Education and now available as a choice for the 2020-2021 school year. 

With that option available, VCS has extended the deadline for pre-registration to Thursday, July 30. The pre-registration form is available on the VCS Reopening Roadmap 2020-2021 website at vcsedu.org.

For the school year that starts Aug. 31, families can choose from three Learning Options:

  • Traditional Classroom Setting (as directed by Florida Department of Education) with health and safety guidelines
  • Volusia Live (real-time live streaming) with student's school of enrollment
  • Enhanced Volusia Online Learning (enrollment deadline is July 31; visit volusiaonlinelearning.com.

VCS is also holding Parent Information Sessions this week in both English and Spanish. Here is the direct link to the sessions. All you have to do is go to the page to know what time they are available and click the join session link. The sessions are scheduled for Monday, July 27 and Wednesday, July 29.
